Situations of life might bring us fear and doubt which do not prevail for He has promised and assured, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid” (Jn 14:27). Comprehension about the mysteries of the Gospel can bring miracles and healing in our daily lives. The One who has left peace on earth is the One whose promises never fail, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Mt 24:35). If He has left, then it remains for us to receive and enjoy, for that is His purposeful manifestation of love for His believers. This revelation has to be kept in mind as a seed in a land for it to produce and get multiplied, “All by itself the soil produces grain - first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head” (Mk 4:28). Let’s take hold of the promises of the Word Incarnate that we may remain peace-filled. Let’s believe and claim the promises of God and enjoy victory day by day.

Abba, thank you for sending Your Son with promises of blessings. Let Your Spirit help us be amused by your assured gifts, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
