Apparent separation might look defeat and lost, but laws of nature are strange and mysterious, governed by God. When He blessed the first man on earth He declared, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Gen 1:28). The greatest desire of God is that His creations get multiplied and expand and be unified in strength. While He called Abraham He declared a similar blessing or rather the same blessing, “I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Gen 12:2-3). Leaving behind and staying at, was a condition that got Abraham multiplied in offspring and wealth. A single seed that sprouts and grows shares the same secret of temporary separation for getting multiplied, as Christ has claimed, “Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds” (Jn 12:24). Let’s remain united in good faith that we may get multiplied and be fruitful.

Abba, thank you for blessing us to get multiplied. Let your Spirit strengthen us and keep united, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
